All of Astro Wood Stake's product is cut from a #1 or better grade hardwood for the best durability and strength for driving into tough ground. Our stakes are surfaced on all four sides for an unmatched smooth surface excellent for writing on. It is also dried to 15% moisture content to maintain elasticity to resist shattering on impact. This also makes our stakes lighter to carry. All stakes are machine pointed for consistently centered and longer points so you can drive stakes easier with more accuracy. Every stake is hand graded for quality second to none.
